Beautiful mountain setting, 2 minutes to downtown This property has amazing views, beautiful decor, and is surrounded by open space and hiking trails. You''d never know this house was only 2 minutes from downtown Boulder and walk along the world famous ''Pearl Street'' walking mall where you can be entertained by street performers during the summer days. Its the perfect getaway for the family, or executive accommodation while visiting Boulder on business. The interior of the house was remodeled about 5 years ago, and updated it with a large dark cherry kitchen cabinets and beautiful granite counter tops. It is great for entertaining because the main area is quite open and well lit. The deck is large and has comfortable outdoor seating that is perfect for a morning coffee or a afternoon BBQ. When the home was remodeled, a second master bedroom was added that includes a 5 piece master bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and steam shower. Therefore, the house has two master suites. The original master suite has its own bathroom and a small deck of its own. There are four total bedrooms, one with a King bed, two with Queen beds, and one with a double bed. There is also an air mattress available if it is needed for additional people. The house is surrounded by open space with several of Boulder''s most popular hikes just minutes walking distance away. The house is nestled on the north side of Sunshine Canyon so it gets a lot of light (thus the name ''sunshine house''). The house is on the South side of Mount Sanitas. I also rent the bottom area of the house (with a separate entrance) as a second 1 bedroom, 1 bath rental. This apartment can be rented together with the home to make a 5 bedroom 4 bath house (if both are available for the same dates). Ask about a discount if you rent both. The house is great for entertaining, but loud parties are prohibited. The area is very quiet and we''d appreciate if people respect that.
