We39re looking to hire a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer in our Boulder office to make a big difference in software testing for LivingSocial39s large:scale ecommerce applications. What the job entails... Working closely with LivingSocial39s engineering, product, and operations teams to design and implement automated test methodologies Assisting the Product Development team in writing actionable, testable product requirements in the form of user stories, and metrics that you can point a finger at Develop and maintain test tools to automate functional and performance testing of the system Evaluate and improve testing methodologies for continuous improvement You39ll fit right in if... You have a Bachelor39s degree or better You have experience in a Linux stack. We use Macs in development and Linux in production. If you39ve ever edited your .bashrc file, you39ll be fine. You have 3:5+ years of Quality Assurance engineering experience in an Agile environment, writing tests. You have experience with Selenium, Watir, Capybara, or a related framework. You have written code for QA or production. We primarily use Ruby on Rails, but the team has a diverse coding background including CC++, Perl, Python, and Scala. You don39t think happy path, but like to think How can I break this? You know how to use a version control tool. We use git. But if you39ve got SVN, Perforce, or Clearcase experience, you should be able to pick things up You39ve used, and value, defect tracking tools. We use Jira.
