What You Will Be Doing
- Operates from an end-user perspective and knows the end-product.
- Develops test strategies and test plans for new components and services.
- Writes specifications for test, test reporting automation and data analysis.
- Executes tests and evaluate root-cause issues working with software development teams.
- Conducts exploratory testing, negative testing (e.g. non-happy path, extremity and break-fix).
- Works closely with development teams to improve test processes.
- Provides assistance speed up regression cycles by identifying areas of automation opportunities.
- Establishes a thorough automated testing practice to complement the existing base of manual testing.
What You Need for this Position
At Least 3 Years of experience and knowledge of:
- QA background
- Black Box Testing
- Grey box testing
- Program / Project Management background
- Regression testing tools
- Bug tracking and reporting tools
- Best Testing Methodologies
- Experience with software quality assurance including requirements analysis, test case identification, test plan creation and execution, tracking of defects and reporting of results working on large, high-transaction, global systems.
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree preferred.
