SUMMARY
The Email Marketing Specialist will work on the Lead Generation team. They will be responsible for all operational aspects of email and other specified digital lead management. This includes our marketing automation tool, its integration with SalesForce, as well as improving our email communication vision by testing and optimizing email campaigns to drive conversion rates of prospective customers. The Email Marketing Specialist will improve and refine existing marketing automation infrastructure and processes, paying close attention to the end:to:end lead maturation process. The Email Marketing Specialist will also be responsible for developing metrics to measure marketing effectiveness.
The role will support and enhance RGS Energys marketing efforts by focusing on the processes, platforms, and tools that enable efficient and effective marketing activities around email campaigns and marketing automation efforts. This role will work to support execution of a wide range of campaigns for different markets and target customers. The Email Marketing Specialist will report to the VP of Strategic Business Units.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Being an effective marketing agent using email and other marketing automation for sophisticated lead generation and insight to pipeline analytics.

Support the delivery of customer electronic communication in the form of branding, lead generation, sales, customer service, and operational messages.
:
Design and develop the layout and overall look of emails and website landing pages that are user:friendly, effective and appealing
:
Create email and web mockups in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other software for approval prior to creating in HTML.
:
Programming in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
:
Asset production (photo manipulation, icon creation, vector artwork, illustration, videos, etc.)
:
Write and review content in messages to ensure its meets business objectives and translates well to our customers.
:
Keeping up:to:date with best practices and recent technological software developments.
:
Manage the customer email lists (database) in Salesforce and Pardot.
QUALIFICATIONS
:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, or 2 years of continual education
:
Prefer 2 years of email marketing experience using salesforce, Pardot, and HTML/CSS in designing, developing and testing emails and landing pages.
:
Proficient in development of HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
:
Knowledge of creating and testing HTML for multiple browsers and email clients
:
Experience in applying user interface usability best practices into emails and website page design
:
Prefer experience working within a leading industry email service provider or email marketer
:
Creative mind with advance knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
:
Experience in implementing SEO on:page best practices.

Comfortable writing and editing copy for email, web, publications and customer communication
:
Working knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot : knowledge of the tools to deploy campaigns and monitor email tracking.

Knowledge of Google Analytics and other tools to monitor customer website behavior

Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem:solving abilities
