Position Summary: This is an intermediate level position that analyzes and re:analyzes records for completion and assists physicians with record completion. Assigns form identification (AFI) and/or performs quality control on scanned images to ensure the integrity of the image is legible, displayed accurately and linked to the correct patients medical record number and account number in the electronic medical record. Monitors transcription QA hold queue and assign the correct patient ADT in a timely manner. Assists with answering phones and/or faxes and responds as appropriate. Meets qualitative and quantitative standards.
Minimum Education Requirements:
:High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum Experience Requirements:
:1 year of health information management experience in healthcare
:Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and troubleshooting computer problems
:Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
