Miguel Espinoza, leader of the band Curandero, teaches guitar in Denver. Miguel is one of the few people who are both highly acclaimed recording/touring musicians, and also great teachers. He can teach you whatever style of music you like. His own specialties are Flamenco and Latin Jazz. Rather than just having you memorize a few cool riffs, he'll help you truly understand the guitar so that you can play any kind of music, from rock, to blues, jazz, etc.
Miguel has been particularly successful teaching school-age children, with several going on to major music conservatories such as Berklee. But he teaches all ages and abilities. For many of his older students, guitar becomes the one thing they do for themselves amid busy work and home lives.
