Job Description:
Responsibilities: 1. Enforce and ensure compliance with contract requirements, CMI Policy, Procedures, and personnel manuals. Regularly communicates effectively and timely to co:workers, supervisors and referring agencies. 2. Conduct head counts, safety checks, on:site verifications, breathalyzers, urine screens, medication monitoring, signs residents in/out of facility, pat searches, visitor sign in/out, property searches, and records information as required. 3. Ensures security and safe operations for the facility and ensuring the overall physical care and cleaning of the facility. 4. Communicate appropriately and respectfully with residents and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to assist residents with motivation and holding them accountable. 5. Informs the immediate supervisor and contractor of any situation or statement that would cause concern for safety of public, resident, staff or visitors. 6. Conduct new resident orientation and intake procedures. 7. Must be able to remain flexible and objective in dealing with a variety of situations and becapable of handling crisis situations in a calm and reasonable manner. 8. Responsible for monitoring residents' activities during the shift under your supervision in and holding residents accountable for their actions. When suitable provide feedback to resident for positive behaviors. Requirements: High School Diploma. Minimum of 21 years of age. Experience in community corrections, corrections, law enforcement, security and bi:bilingual is desired. Must be certified in First Aid and CPR.
